Job summary

New Castle Building Products, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator at our Piscataway, NJ location. The role includes loading/unloading trucks, fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, operate a forklift, and follow DOT regulations and safety practices. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to function in a dynamic warehouse environment and fulfill customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks of building materials including checking-in material.
• Fulfill customer orders from stock based on work orders.
• Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for delivery or receipt into the warehouse.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment.
• Drive heavy-duty/commercial trucks and operate warehouse and truck-mounted forklifts.
• Adhere to DOT regulations (vehicle inspections and ELD hours).
• Load material onto trucks and offload material at job sites; check order accuracy.

MAIN JOB TASKS & REQUIREMENTS

• Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking-in of material
• Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders
• Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for either delivery or for receipt into the warehouse
• Assist in counting of physical inventory
• Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment
• Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times
• Drive heavy-duty / commercial trucks and operate warehouse & truck mounted forklifts.
• Adhere to DOT regulations (such as vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service).
• Load material onto trucks, and offload material at job sites... while checking material for order accuracy.
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

Wage Range: $18 - $24/hour plus additional benefits. In compliance with applicable law, this range is a good faith estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
