Job summary

New Castle Building Products in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. You will load/unload trucks, fulfill customer orders from stock, and operate a forklift safely to move building materials.

Ideal candidates can lift up to 70 pounds, assist in inventory counts, and follow DOT regulations. We offer a competitive hourly wage with benefits and regular performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Warehouse experience and order fulfillment helpful.
• Valid forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks of building materials.
• Fulfill customer orders from stock based on work orders.
• Load materials onto pallets and shelves for delivery or receipt.
• Assist in counting physical inventory.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse area.
• Drive heavy-duty trucks and operate forklift equipment as needed.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and vehicle inspections.

Our location based in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a full time Warehouse/Forklift Operator. Candidates should have the ability to function in a dynamic warehouse environment and order fulfillment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds

Main Job Tasks & Requirements

• Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking-in of material
• Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders
• Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for either delivery or for receipt into the warehouse
• Assist in counting of physical inventory
• Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment
• Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times
• Drive heavy-duty / commercial trucks and operate warehouse & truck mounted forklifts.
• Adhere to DOT regulations (such as vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service).
• Load material onto trucks, and offload material at job sites... while checking material for order accuracy.
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned
• Frequent standing, walking, crouching

Wage Range: $18 - $24/hour plus additional benefits. In compliance with applicable law, this range is a good faith estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
