Job summary

New Castle Building Products in White Plains, NY is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Forklift Operator to support daily material handling, loading and unloading trucks, and order fulfillment in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 70 pounds, operate a forklift safely, and contribute to inventory counting and orderly warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
• Experience with loading/unloading trucks is a plus.
• Familiarity with forklift operation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking-in of material.
• Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders.
• Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for either delivery or for receipt into the warehouse.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment.
• Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times.
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.
• Frequent standing, walking, crouching.
