Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and attend training.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment and report issues.
• Occasionally fill in as Truck Driver (box truck/tractor trailer).
• Maintain regular attendance and teamwork.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Positionsummary :TheForklift Driveris responsible forforklift transportation of raw materials and finished products to the warehouse,workstations, and for loading and unloading supply trailers.They are also responsible for driving company box truck and/or tractor trailer vehicles as required .

Essentialfunctions:

• Followestablished policies and procedures for loading and unloading trucks and material handling;assistwithmaintainingthe warehouse.
• Ensurethatworkstationscontainthe correct parts.
• Maintainopen communication with supervisors, team leaders and material handlersregardingproduction status (i.e.,down time, material shortage, etc.).
• Preparerequired documentation for shippingand receiving processes; reportfreight damage.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures; attend training asrequired.
• Performroutine inspection and preventative maintenanceon assigned equipment; notifymaintenance of issues and concerns.
• May berequiredto fill in as Truck Driver,includingbox truck or tractor trailer.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Attend safety trainings and follow all safety procedures and protocols toensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees at all times.
