Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate in Aberdeen, MD to load/unload merchandise, scan items with an RF gun, and operate lift equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have WMS/RF experience, the ability to lift up to 250 lbs, and a flexible schedule including weekends. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with safety compliance emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Must pass lift assessment with 250 lb push/pull requirement.
• Must operate an electric lift, forklift, and tugger.
• Must operate an RF gun.

Responsibilities

• Pick up product from Staging Area and off load onto Rack Shelving units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks.
• When placing product accurately scan all merchandise utilizing RF gun.
• Pick up product from Rack Shelving Units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks and off load onto Dock / Bay area.
• When placing product accurately scan all merchandise utilizing RF gun.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure full compliance of all safety programs while operating material handling equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Summary / Objective

This position will require a knowledge of both Shipping & Receiving processes. Flexibility in job assignments as well as the versatility to work both equally well. In addition, the skill to operate Lift Equipment, RF units, and physical skills to lift or push / pull substantial product weight. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Pick up product from Staging Area and off load onto Rack Shelving units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks

• Pick up product from Rack Shelving Units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks and off load onto Dock / Bay area

• Ensure full compliance of all safety programs both while operating and not operating material handling equipment
• All other duties as assigned

Competencies

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
