Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate in a fast-paced, light industrial setting.

The role requires operating lift equipment and RF scanning to ensure accurate movement and placement of products, with a flexible approach to job assignments and adherence to safety guidelines. This position is located in Aberdeen, MD, and offers hourly pay based on experience with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to pass lift assessment with a 250 lb push/pull requirement.
• Experience operating electric lift, forklift, and tugger.

Responsibilities

• Pick up product from Staging Area and off load onto Rack Shelving, Floor locations, or Stack Racks and scan with RF gun.
• Place product onto Dock/Bay area and scan merchandise with RF gun.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary/ObjectiveThis position will require a knowledge of both Shipping & Receiving processes. Flexibility in job assignments as well as the versatility to work both equally well.
