Bob's Discount Furniture seeks an Utility Equipment Operator to support shipping and receiving processes. The role requires operating RF units and industrial lift equipment, plus ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced distribution center.

Responsibilities include loading, staging, scanning merchandise with RF guns, maintaining safety, and following warehouse procedures with teamwork and problem-solving approaches.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating RF units to move product accurately.
• Ability to operate Industrial Lift Equipment (order picker) and lift heavy items.
• Strong communication and reading/writing skills for detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pick up product from staging area and load onto rack shelving or floor locations.
• Move products from racks or stack racks to the dock/bay area for staging.
• Scan merchandise with RF gun to ensure accurate placement.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Flexibility in job assignments as well as the versatility to work both equally well. In addition, the skill to operate Lift Equipment, RF units, and physical skills to lift or push / pull substantial product weight.
