Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Customer Pick-Up Equipment Operator in Ohio to safely operate forklift and cherry picker equipment, and to manage RF scanning for accurate loading and unloading. The role requires willingness to work flexible hours and proficiency with heights up to 40 feet.

Responsibilities include staging, pallet loading, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment while following safety programs and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40ft. in the air.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft. in the air.
• Pick up product from Staging Area and load onto Rack Shelving, Floor locations, or Stack Racks.
• Move product from Rack Shelving Units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks to Dock / Bay area.
• Scan merchandise with RF gun to ensure accurate placement.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and comply with safety programs.

**Job Title** Customer Pick-Up Equipment Operator **Job Overview** This position will require a knowledge of both Shipping & Receiving processes. Flexibility in job assignments as well as the versatility to work both equally well. In addition, the skill to operate Lift Equipment, RF units, and physical skills to lift or push / pull substantial product weight.
