Job summary

Staffmark Group in Poway, CA is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Associate to support daily order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and inventory stocking in a fast-paced distribution center. Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: 4am to 12:30pm Monday to Friday

Looking for Warehouse Forklift Associate jobs in Poway where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.

The Warehouse / Forklift Associate is responsible for executing daily order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, material handling, and inventory stocking within a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role operates material handling equipment (such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts) to safely unload, move, stack, and pick products while maintaining exact order accuracy and strict warehouse safety standards.

This opportunity is based on a Forklift Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

Job Duties

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, unload, and store materials
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and product accuracy
• Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts as needed
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Pick and Pack experience required
• Previous forklift experience required (sit-down and/or stand-up forklift)
• Experience with material handling in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Shipping and receiving experience preferredInventory control and stocking experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on order accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
