Job summary

Staffmark Group in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials, pull orders, and prepare shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Location: Oceanside, CA

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 10am-6:30pm

Looking for Forklift Operator jobs in Oceanside where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.

Job Duties

• Utilize customer tickets to pull orders accurately and timely.
• Pick, Pack, and load items and prepare for shipment.
• Accurately check and receive inbound products and confirm that the shipment is consistent with the applicable purchase order.
• Check product packaging to ensure that it is neat and intact.
• Utilize RF guns to scan barcodes and labels allowing us to track appropriate inventory levels.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and routes material for safe delivery or storage.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 1-year experience. must have 6months+ on forklift (Sit down, Order Picker, Reach Truck).
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Must have experience with RF guns

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
