Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. seeks an experienced warehouse leader to oversee the yard and warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, load building, customer service and deliveries.

You will supervise forklift operation, inventory checks, safety practices and staff, ensuring accurate counts, efficient loading, and compliance with company policies in a fast-paced outdoor/warehouse environment. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least four years of yard or warehousing

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates receiving; ensures proper counting and storage.
• Oversees safe operation of forklifts; ensures training/certification when needed.
• Coordinates periodic inventory checks and maintains stock levels.
• Prepares orders and assigns loading to staff; ensures correct load building.
• Maintains organized, clean warehouse and reports safety hazards.
