Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the location's warehousing functions, including receiving, stocking, load building, customer service and deliveries.

You will coordinate receiving, supervise forklift operation, plan inventory, ensure accurate counts, manage loading for customer vehicles, and maintain a safe, organized work environment with compliance to company and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with several years of warehousing experience.
• Experience coordinating yard or warehousing activities and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving and accurate unloading and storage of merchandise.
• Direct forklift-safe handling and training of employees.
• Coordinate periodic inventory checks and stock planning.
• Assign staff to load merchandise into customer vehicles.
• Perform similar duties as other warehouse employees.
• Maintain organized, clean and safe warehouse areas; report hazards.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and improve safety measures.
• Other duties as needed.
