Job summary

Egan Company in Champlin, MN is seeking a Shop Services Clerk to support our Industrial Controls team. You will manage material flow, assist with kitting, and uphold a high‑performance warehouse environment in a climate‑controlled facility.

The role reports to the Panel Shop Operations Supervisor and offers full‑time hours with occasional weekends/overtime. Requires safety awareness and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background in warehouse operations a plus.
• Ability to lift/carry 40 lbs alone or 50–85 lbs with assistance.
• Stand or sit for extended periods; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound materials, components, and supplies.
• Verify package contents for damage and accuracy.
• Place products in assigned locations throughout the warehouse.
• Support resolution of shipping errors, lost shipments, or internal picking errors.
• Coordinate shipping of parcels locally and nationally.
• Enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean, and efficient work area.
• Assist in picking and kitting components to support production.
• Proactively manage parts supply to the production floor using rolling carts.
• Maintain workstation inventory levels for multi‑day production schedules.
• Operate forklift with certification (provided).
• Contribute to 5S and Lean activities and continuous process improvement.
• Adhere to safety and security guidelines; maintain professionalism with staff and customers.
