Join to apply for the Warehouse - First Shift role at G&T Industries.

G&T Industries in Reading, PA has an immediate opening on first shift in our warehouse/shipping area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse setting. We are seeking a self-directed, fast-moving individual with the following responsibilities:

1. Wrapping and packaging of products
2. Loading outbound trucks
3. Receiving inbound trucks and unloading materials
4. Staging materials
5. Job ticket transactions
6. Communicating with drivers, customer service, and production personnel
7. Operating forklifts and mobile equipment, with the ability to learn other machinery
8. Checking for defects and accurate counting

The applicant should have basic CPU skills for entering work order tickets into the ERP system, and the ability to operate a forklift and learn to operate mobile equipment and other machinery. Attendance will be strictly enforced.

Key requirements include the ability to use computers and scanners for shipping/receiving, attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with regular overtime required.
