Job summary

SanMar is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely locate and move products using RF scanning, while supporting multiple departments within the warehouse. The role includes picking, packing and restocking to fulfill customer orders with accuracy and speed.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of lift operator experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment. Training and safety certifications are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years lift operator experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills for counting and quantity.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt priorities as needed.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Fast-paced, high-volume environment experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered lift equipment using RF unit to scan movements and locate locations.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products.
• Restock, pick, and pack products for orders.
• Inspect equipment daily and report issues.
• Follow safety procedures and use equipment keys properly.
• Complete SanMar Lift Operator Certification per OSHA guidelines every 3 years.
