Job summary

SanMar Corp. is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely locate and move product using RF scanning, load and stage items, and support various production departments. The role involves restocking, picking, and packing customer orders while maintaining equipment and following safety procedures.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 8:00pm - 6:30am with eligible overtime. Pay starts at $17.50 plus a $2.00 shift differential up to $19.50 per hour, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of lift operator experience.
• Ability to read and write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity.
• Demonstrates ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities; rotate to other production functions as needed.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered lift equipment to move product and materials using an RF unit to scan movement and locations.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
• Restock, pick, and pack product for customer orders.
• Inspect equipment daily and manage checkout/return in good condition.
• Follow procedures for care and use of equipment, including keys.
• Adhere to safety requirements and guidelines.
• Complete and maintain SanMar's Lift Operator Certification per OSHA guidelines every three years.
