Job summary

Neovia Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Equipment Operator for Shift 1 to ensure safe and efficient handling of goods using forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment. The role requires knowledge of logistics, materials management, and distribution processes to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include operating and servicing equipment, ensuring safety in work zones, and supporting weight verification, packaging, and material movement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Sit-down forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely during material handling and warehousing tasks (receiving, processing, storing, moving, shipping).
• Operate equipment safely while moving material and while entering/exiting trailers.
• Maintain safety of personnel within operating zones.
• Lead and assist in verifying quantities, parts, destinations, and timing prior to movement.
• Demonstrate, lead, and assist in weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging operations.
• Service and operate mechanical, motorized, and/or electrical equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
