Job summary

Neovia Logistics in Aurora, IL is seeking a Senior Warehouse Equipment Operator on 1st shift to oversee safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers while mentoring new hires. Candidates should have at least two years of warehouse experience, hands-on equipment experience, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse and logistics experience.
• Minimum 1 year operating forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
• Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding new warehouse associates.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory, shipping, and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Train, coach, and assist new hires on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, safety protocols, and productivity standards.
• Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture throughout the warehouse.
• Perform receiving, storage, inventory movement, replenishment, order picking, and shipping activities.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Verify quantities, product information, destinations, and shipment details using source documents and warehouse management systems.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle count activities.
• Operate weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment issues and assist with routine equipment inspections.
• Support warehouse leadership with daily operational priorities and special projects.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inventory and material movement.
