Job description

JOB SUMMARY:Performs mobile and stocking activities for the Warehouse.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must wear proper gear to work daily
• Must offload containers and stock items when the container arrives
• Must replenish shelves and pallets when necessary
• Throughout the day, properly rotate incoming stock, including when replenishing
• Label all pallets with their date of arrival (also listing expiration dates) when containers arrive
• Ensure that all inventory is stored away as per standard before end of shift
• Must clean all machines used at the end of your shift
• Report on management of any suspected and unusual discrepancies of/damages to your equipment as soon as possible
• Must not use cell phones or other media devices when operating machines
• Must not be under the influence of alcohol or any other symptom-induced drugs
• Assist with any other warehouse task(s) as assigned by management
• Operating heavy machinery: including but not limited to Forklift, Power Jack and Reach
• Ensuring safe and effective operation while adhering to safety protocols and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to operate high powered industrial machinery
• Must be able to able to lift medium to large sized boxes/items
• Must be well-groomed at all times
• Must have good verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must be able to meet assigned deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant certifications and/or experience in operating heavy machinery
• Experience in construction and/or warehouse environment
• Adherence to safety regulations
