Performance Foodservice is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubbers, etc.) and to support facility systems and grounds. The role operates within a team, maintaining safety standards and schedules.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of maintenance experience in a large warehouse environment, with a schedule Sunday-Thursday, 8:00pm to 4:30am, and
Under general supervision, performs the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubber, etc.). systems, general maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipment. Helps to maintain the facilities, buildings and grounds according to an established preventative maintenance schedule and on 'as needed' basis. Observes all safety and regulatory standards. Ensures quality of work product while working in an efficient and timely manner. This position functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and performs any duties assigned to best serve the Company.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8:00pm to 4:30am
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: 1 Year maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance and general maintenance and repairs for large warehouse, fleet shop and office facilities.
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
