Job summary

US Foods in California is seeking a maintenance technician to upkeep Crown material handling equipment used in warehousing. You will perform repairs, conduct preventive maintenance, and maintain repair logs to ensure continuous operations for day and night shifts.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic plumbing/drywall/painting skills, welding ability, and experience with electrical systems. Overtime and shift differentials may apply; health and retirement benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Repair and maintenance of warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) and documentation of actions.
PMs (Preventative Maintenance) performed with logs per USF policy.
Basic mathematical skills and ability to read/write legibly; able to follow orders.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure daily operations.
Review equipment reports, log actions and repairs, and maintain PM logs.
Comply with safety guidelines (Lock Out/Tag Out, placarding, etc.).
Maintain battery-charging area and handle tools and inventory safely.
Assist with light maintenance tasks (lighting, painting, drywall, etc.).
