Job summary

Carlson Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance and repair of the warehouse building and equipment. The role involves working with the Director of Operations to ensure cost-effective repairs, preventative maintenance, and safe operation of equipment at the West Valley, UT facility.

Key duties include repairing forklifts, dock levelers, and rolling doors; performing preventive maintenance; maintaining inventory of parts; and documenting maintenance

Qualifications

• Solid work background with strong work ethic and dependability.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Ability to perform regular physical labor and operate tools safely.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to present information clearly.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on forklifts, pallet jacks, dock levelers, rolling doors, and other warehouse equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure reliability of machinery.
• Communicate issues to management and coordinate with Director of Operations.
• Maintain adequate supplies and prepare required maintenance reports.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized; adhere to safety standards.
