Job summary

Carlson Distributing Company LLC is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician to support the West Valley City warehouse. You will service and repair forklift equipment, dock levelers, and rolling doors, while maintaining preventative maintenance schedules and ensuring safe operations.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires daily physical labor and strong problem-solving abilities. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in facility maintenance,

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to performance.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant experience.
• 2+ years facility maintenance experience.
• 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to lead others and work under direction.
• Able to present information clearly to managers and peers.
• Able to read and interpret maintenance manuals.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Must work 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM or as scheduled; pass drug screen; wear safety gear; maintain attendance.

Responsibilities

• Repair forklifts, pallet jacks, dock levelers, rolling doors, and other equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure service reliability.
• Ensure internal/external work meets company standards.
• Schedule outsourced work with Director of Operations approval.
• Maintain adequate supplies and report needs.
• Keep safety equipment in working order and complete required reports.
