Although Hajoca is large, we operate in a decentralized environment where each location, called a Profit Center (PC), is managed as a small business. A typical Profit Center includes a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom, operating under trade names tailored to local markets.

LCR Metairie is one such trade name, seeking a Warehouse Employee at their Metairie, LA location.

The pay range for this position is $18 to $20 per hour.

About the Role:

• Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer returns.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders following company procedures.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through attention to detail.
• Handle shipping discrepancies and forward paperwork as needed.
• Identify nonstock, special-order, and damaged items, storing them appropriately.
• Complete documentation for shipments via third-party carriers.
• Load and unload trucks; operate forklift and other equipment safely.
• Report stock issues, discrepancies, or damaged merchandise to supervisors.
• Maintain warehouse security, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Assist co-workers and perform all duties in accordance with safety standards.
• Complete safety and compliance training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

• 1 year of warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center is preferred.

• Ability to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Understanding and application of safety precautions.

• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
