Job summary

GSC Wholesale LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Warehouse Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and security programs at our distribution center, under direction from the Security Director and Regional EHS Manager.

The role includes overseeing safety training, incident investigations, security systems, and collaboration with warehouse teams to meet safety and cost objectives, with no travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics & Transportation or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Understanding of DOT regulations, safety investigations and incident reporting.
• Ability to manage safety and security programs within a distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Create high service and productivity expectations among team members and address performance gaps.
• Assess daily/weekly work habits; identify trends; direct safety practices to address issues.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment per company policies and regulations.
• Review performance to ensure safety and security goals are met and take corrective actions.
• Assess business needs and opportunities to improve service, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
