Job summary

The Buffalo Sabres seek a Warehouse Manager to oversee merchandise fulfillment, inventory control, and online retail operations for team gear both online and in-arena. You will bridge logistics and digital retail to drive revenue and ensure fan satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing warehouse and online store activities, optimizing processes, tracking KPIs, and leading a fulfillment team with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3–5+ years in warehouse operations or e-commerce/logistics; sports merchandising preferred.
• Experience with inventory systems and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and fulfillment software.
• Knowledge of NHL merchandise operations and fan engagement trends.
• Strong organizational, communication, and deadline management skills.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping of merchandise.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with regular cycle counts and audits.
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and scalability.
• Oversee inbound shipments and distribution to retail locations.
• Manage all aspects of the online store: listings, pricing and promotions.
• Monitor website performance and drive online sales growth.
• Coordinate product launches and campaigns; ensure accurate product descriptions and images.
• Ensure timely order fulfillment and develop shipping workflows.
• Address escalated customer service issues related to orders, returns and exchanges.
• Recruit, train and manage warehouse and fulfillment staff; manage labor for seasonal demand.
• Track KPIs (order accuracy, fulfillment times, inventory turnover) and report to leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism; ensure compliance with regulations.
