Colony Hardware is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role's primary responsibilities include organizing merchandise for shipment, receiving incoming goods, performing inventory counts, and verifying contents against packing slips.

Major Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming merchandise to ensure it matches the packing slip.
• Examine stock items for wear or defects; report damages to supervisors or vendors.
• Sort, organize, and label merchandise with appropriate inventory codes.
• Conduct scheduled cycle counts of products.
• Load trucks with packed orders in an organized manner.
• Read pick tickets, prioritize critical orders, and verify picked items against tickets.
• Pack and unpack items following specific instructions.
• Pull, package, and stage outbound orders.
• Prepare outbound UPS shipments as needed.
• Move completed orders to shipment areas.
• Operate forklift to load/unload trucks and place merchandise on shelves.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
• Occasionally serve as backup driver for deliveries (DOT Medical Card required).
• Communicate issues to supervisors for resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical DOT certification.
• At least 3 years of commercial driving and delivery experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency with Outlook Email and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and multitask.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Ability to navigate websites and interpret digital and written information.
• Forklift operation experience (certification preferred).
• Excellent time management, negotiation, critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to understand and meet customer needs.

Physical and Equipment Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Move around the warehouse and loading dock area frequently.
• Enter and exit vehicles multiple times daily.
• Climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in confined or varied environments.
• Use equipment such as computers, telephones, GPS, forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and motor vehicles.
