Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $26.06 - $39.04/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on location, experience, and skills. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission or incentives.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Place stocked vehicles on location numbers for storage.
  2. Set upcoming sales.
  3. Move wrecked vehicles on lot or for insurance inspection/legal purposes.
  4. Load purchased vehicles onto buyers' trucks and unload vehicles from sellers' trucks.
  5. Perform daily maintenance on equipment as needed.
  6. Stock vehicles in AS400 system.
  7. Ensure proper announcements are entered.
  8. Follow all safety and health procedures, actively participate in safety activities, and demonstrate safety commitment.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  10. Work overtime as needed based on business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience with forklift equipment, or a related discipline with higher education, or 5 years’ related experience.
  • Ability to pass OSHA forklift/heavy equipment certification with recertification every 3 years.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Effective communication and organization skills.
  • Customer service commitment.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb, and sit for prolonged periods.
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills and experience with portable terminals or similar devices.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Class A license.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
  • Up to 50% of shift spent outdoors or out of the cab.
  • Driving and maneuvering forklifts in challenging situations.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles in various weather conditions.
