Base pay

$14.00/hr - $14.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the physical movement of outbound shipments to G.P De Silva Spice Company customers.
• Plan, coordinate and maintain economical and efficient freight services.
• Identify and implement opportunities to drive cost and enhance service.
• Ensure compliance with all freight standards.
• Make deliveries to customer sites while adhering to all safety procedures.
• Load inventory on truck and unload at customer sites.
• Perform routine inspections of vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.
• Plan routes to and from customers' businesses and adjust for traffic or construction.
• Ensure manifests are complete and accurate; deliver merchandise and contact customers if not present.
• Collect payments from customers and pull orders to match manifests.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance to resolve customer issues.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum Requirement Class C license to operate Box Truck.
• Forklift Certification.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Experience working at a food company strongly preferred.
• Team player with strong communication skills.

Qualifications
