Description

Johnstone Supply - The Founders Group is a 3rd generation family-owned leading wholesale distributor for heating, cooling, and refrigeration supplies and equipment. We operate across 5 states as one of the nation's largest HVAC/R distributors, offering superior customer service, technical advice, training seminars, and a catalog with over 80,000 parts, supplies, and equipment.

Primary Purpose

To provide assistance and support to both internal and external customers.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver orders to customers professionally and timely.
2. Receive and process rush orders, weekly orders, and check order stages.
3. Stock warehouse and prepare will-call orders.
4. Maintain bin locations and process ship-outs from Fairfield.
5. Handle warranty and returns, including paperwork and shipping.
6. Manage compressed gas tanks and keep warehouse clean.
7. Work as a team and adhere to company policies.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with counter/phone sales and customer notifications.
2. Recycle cardboard, manage garbage, and assist with showroom stocking.
3. Handle freight claims and participate in training and special projects.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Preferred delivery driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED, with 2-3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping/receiving, material handling, HVAC/R, customer service, or sales is a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
