Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, experienced individual to join our team as a Warehouse/Driver Assistant. In this full-time position, you will be part of our warehouse and delivery team, using pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles, and driving vehicles to various locations. The role requires observing safe workplace rules and guidelines when unloading and transporting cargo. The ideal candidate must be able to lift and move heavy containers, possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), forklift operator's certification, and have experience with warehouse inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
• Use forklift to move pallets and other large items from warehouse to trucks.
• Keep accurate records of items shipped and received.
• Safely drive trucks to pickup and delivery locations.
• Load and unload goods with appropriate equipment or by hand.
• Assist in preparing and stocking shelves for market service.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform light housekeeping and custodial duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience loading and unloading in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification and experience is desirable.
• Clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items throughout the shift.
• Experience with warehouse inventory management.
• Ability to work productively with volunteers.
