Job summary

Tireco Distributors (TD) in Columbia, SC hires a Warehouse/Driver to support warehouse operations and occasional tire deliveries.

You will perform order picking, loading and unloading trucks, shipping/receiving, and operate equipment such as a forklift.

When needed, you will deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle, provide friendly customer service, process payments, handle returns, and keep the vehicle in good condition.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard regular driver's license; No CDL required.
• Meet DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical.
• Be insured under the company driving policy.
• Able to operate a company vehicle and a forklift.
• Move tires between 30–80 lbs daily; team lift for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties: pick orders, load/unload trucks, ship/receive.
• Operate forklift and related warehouse equipment.
• Deliver tires and wheels using company vehicle when needed.
• Provide friendly customer service and handle payments and returns.
• Maintain vehicle and assist with loading/unloading tasks.

Job Details: Job Location: Columbia - West Columbia, SC 29170, Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.50 Hourly, Job Shift: Any, JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Driver

As a Warehouse/Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for warehouse duties such as picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and operating equipment such as a forklift. Although you will be in the warehouse 90% of the time, you will also assist in safely delivering tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Possess a valid standard regular driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and a forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
