Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Jessup, MD is seeking a Warehouse/Driver to be the face of our company on the front lines delivering essential products. You will handle warehouse duties such as picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, and shipping and receiving while operating equipment like a forklift.

Although you will spend most of your time in the warehouse, you will also safely deliver tires and wheels, provide friendly customer service, manage returns, and support vehicle upkeep.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard regular driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required.
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and a forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving.
• Operate equipment such as a forklift in a safe manner.
• Deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle when required.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service; manage product returns and payments.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Day

JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Driver

As a Warehouse/Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for warehouse duties such as picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and operating equipment such as a forklift. Although you will be in the warehouse 90% of the time, you will also assist in safely delivering tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle.
