Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Jessup, MD is seeking a Warehouse/Driver to join our frontline team. You will handle warehouse duties, pick orders, load/unload trucks, ship and receive, and operate a forklift.

You will also help deliver tires and wheels as needed, provide friendly customer service, manage returns, and keep the assigned vehicle clean and fueled.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid standard regular driver’s license (no CDL required).
• DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; able to cross state lines for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties: picking orders, loading/unloading trucks, shipping/receiving.
• Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist in tire and wheel deliveries using company vehicle.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and manage product returns.

JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Driver

As a Warehouse/Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for warehouse duties such as picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and operating equipment such as a forklift. Although you will be in the warehouse 90% of the time, you will also assist in safely delivering tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Possess a valid standard regular driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required


• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required


• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.


• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and a forklift.


• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
