Job summary

Tireco Distributors (TD) in Jessup, MD is seeking a Warehouse/Driver to handle order picking, loading and unloading, shipping/receiving, and forklift operation. The role also involves occasional tire and wheel deliveries in a company vehicle.

You will maintain a professional customer service approach, cross state deliveries when required, and support the warehouse 90% of the time while contributing to a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Valid standard driver's license; no CDL required.
• DOT compliance requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; 21+ years.
• Ability to operate company vehicle and forklift safely.
• Able to move tires 30–80 lbs daily; team lift for >80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders and perform warehouse duties; load/unload trucks.
• Handle shipping and receiving and operate a forklift.
• Safely deliver tires and wheels using company vehicle when needed.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service; collect payments and manage returns.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and support a clean, organized workspace.

JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Driver

As a Warehouse/Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for warehouse duties such as picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and operating equipment such as a forklift. Although you will be in the warehouse 90% of the time, you will also assist in safely delivering tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Possess a valid standard regular driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required


• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required


• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.


• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and a forklift.


• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
