R.E. Michel Company is seeking a Warehouse/Driver in Timonium, MD. This full-time, non-exempt role combines loading, delivering to customer locations, and providing friendly service while maintaining accurate records.

You will operate material handling equipment, adhere to DOT regulations, and support branch operations with a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented approach. A valid CDL or drivers license and clean driving record are required; forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate forklift.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.

Successful completion of pre-employment screens is required and must be 18 years of age to operate forklift.
