Job summary

R.E. Michel Company in Timonium, MD is seeking a Warehouse/Driver for full-time, non-exempt work. You will safely operate equipment, fulfill orders, and deliver to customer locations while delivering excellent service.

A valid license, clean driving record, and DOT compliance are required. Proficiency with Prophet 21 and ability to read invoices are preferred. Join a fast-paced environment with strong safety focus and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and 5-year driving history.
• DOT physical and forklift operation clearance (18+).
• Flexibility to work Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

• Excellent verbal communication and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in Prophet 21 software and ability to read invoices.

Job Title: Warehouse/Driver
Full Time/Non-Exempt

Reports To: Branch Manager

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.
