Job summary

R.E. Michel Company is seeking a reliable driver to operate forklifts and delivery vehicles, fulfill orders, and service customers with professionalism. You will maintain safety and accuracy in daily activities and collaborate with teammates to keep branch operations running smoothly.

The role requires a valid license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be 18+).
• Flexibility to work Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and deliver to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly servicing customer needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.

Successful completion of pre-employment screens is required and must be 18 years of age to operate forklift.
