R.E. Michel Company, LLC in Silver Springs, MD is seeking a Warehouse/Driver who is reliable and safety-focused.

This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Branch Manager and involves handling material, driving to customer locations, and supporting daily branch operations. You will operate material handling equipment, ensure accurate service and compliance with DOT, maintain a clean driving record, and work with teammates to keep deliveries on schedule.

Formación

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and clean 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.

Successful completion of pre-employment screens is required and must be 18 years of age to operate forklift.
