Job summary

Safelite is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Delivery Driver in Omaha, Nebraska. You will safely operate a 16–20 ft straight truck to deliver glass inventory to store locations and meet delivery timelines.

This role includes pre-trip safety inspections, loading and unloading, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You may perform inbound/outbound tasks and operate material handling equipment when not driving, all while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and MVR check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally 50+ lbs.
• Ability to operate MHE including forklifts and reach trucks.
• Comfortable working in varying weather and long shifts.
• Self-directed with minimal guidance.
• Punctual and consistent attendance.
• Positive attitude focused on service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a 16–20-foot straight truck to deliver glass inventory to store locations and meet delivery timelines.
• Performs routine pre-trip safety inspections and reports maintenance needs.
• Secures inventory by loading/unloading, verifying labels, and handling returns.
• Maintains inventory accuracy for shipments and returns; reports discrepancies.
• May perform inbound/outbound tasks and operate MHE when not driving.
• Adheres to all safety, driver, and PPE requirements.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned.

• Maintains inventory accuracy forout shipmentsand returnsbyidentifyingand reporting discrepancies or damaged itemsthrough required documentation processes.
• May perform inbound or outbound activities when not driving includingbeing trained on andoperatingmaterial handlingequipment(MHE)including forklifts, order pickers or reach trucks.
• Adhere to all safety, driver,and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

WhatYou’llNeed

• Mustbe 18 yearsold.
• Validstate-issueddriver’s licenserequiredand any other license(s)_(as required by federal, state, and local laws)_tooperatea company vehicle;must passa Motor Vehicle Records check (MVR).
• Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• To safelyoperatethe order picker andcomply withequipment manufacturer specifications andrequiredsafety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds. If you are hired tooperatethis equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs.
• Comfortable with working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts.
• Capacityto workefficiently andself-directed, with minimalguidance.
