Job summary

R.E. Michel Company in Watertown, NY is seeking a Warehouse/Driver to safely pick, pack, and deliver orders while providing excellent customer service.

You will operate warehouse equipment, verify invoices, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and flexibility to work weekdays with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions; forklift operation eligibility (18+).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Work Environment:
