Job summary

R.E. Michel Company in Canton, OH is hiring a full-time Warehouse/Driver to safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles, fulfill orders, and deliver to customer locations.

You will support branch operations and uphold DOT regulations. Qualifications include a valid driver's license with a clean 5-year driving record, ability to pass a DOT physical, forklift operation (18+), and basic computer skills including Prophet 21 software.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.
