R.E. Michel Company, a nationwide HVACR and LP equipment distributor, is hiring for a Warehouse/Driver in Utica, NY. The role involves safe operation of equipment, delivering to customer locations, and providing excellent service daily.

Successful candidates will maintain DOT compliance, keep a clean driving record, and collaborate with the branch team to ensure smooth operations. This is a full-time position with occasional Saturdays and a safety-sensitive environment.

Formación

• Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Job Title: Warehouse/Driver
Full Time/Non-Exempt

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.
