Job summary

Estes Forwarding Worldwide (EFW) is seeking a Dockworker, Warehousing to unload, sort, and load freight safely at our Georgia facility. You will follow work orders, use forklifts, and maintain accurate shipment records as part of a collaborative team. Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Minimum high school diploma with 0-2 years of related experience. Forklift certification preferred.

• Forklift operation and pallet jack use as needed.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling freight.
• Reading and interpreting work orders and instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good communication with team members and supervisors.
• Follows safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Dockworker is responsible for unloading, sorting, handling, and loading freight safely per instructions and regulations.
• Operate hand and power tools to support outbound loading.
• Read work orders to determine tasks and material needs.
• Maintain accurate records for shipments and inventory.
• Work collaboratively in a team to complete tasks on schedule.
• Use WMS and scanners to track inventory and document reporting.
• Support and promote company core values and attendance.
• Follow TSA and C-TPAT security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
