Job summary

Encore in Lanham, MD is seeking a Dock Associate I to support daily warehouse operations, including inbound/outbound tasks, labeling, and loading/unloading with proper safety discipline. You will work under the Dock Operations Manager to ensure accurate, timely processing of client property and maintain quality control.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of warehouse experience. This is a full-time on-site position offering overtime and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in warehouse or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager with all inbound/outbound activity in the facility.
• Work closely with dock Associate II and department manager in the execution on delivering and receiving client owned property.
• Maintain department and company quality control.
• Properly label all shipments with appropriate information.
• Assist with assembly & disassembly of client & company owned event assets.
• Proper use of organizational skills, time management, and safety policies and procedures.
• Provide continuous feedback to manager, and team members on incoming/outgoing freight.
• Work closely with Dock Associate II and department manager to meet the service needs, ensuring all expectations are met.
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Other duties assigned.
