Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast is seeking a Dock Worker 1 to load and unload freight from trailers, containers, and straight trucks. You will accurately record freight movements and ensure paperwork is completed timely, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and communicating with supervisors.

Preferred candidates have prior warehouse or dock experience and familiarity with scanning equipment and warehouse management systems.

Job description

As a Dock Worker 1, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight from trailers, containers, and straight trucks. You will also be responsible for accurately recording the movement of freight and ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be critical in this role. You will report to the Dock Supervisor and work closely with other team members to ensure that all freight is handled efficiently and effectively.
