Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping/receiving and distribution center operations in Winthrop, ME. You will move product accurately and safely, select items for shipment, and operate material handling equipment as needed.

The role requires high school education, distribution experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. A strong focus on safety and sanitation is essential, with the option to be certified on powered

Qualifications

Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
High School Education.
Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee.
Complete all documents related to shipping/receiving tasks.
Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to stores.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts.
Follow sanitation practices; keep area clean and debris-free.
Suggest procedural/process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
