Job summary

White Cap is seeking a warehouse associate in Maryland to support operations by loading, unloading, picking orders, shipping and material handling. You will ensure items are prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and moved safely.

This role involves operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, maintaining a clean, safe work area, and assisting customers or installers as needed. HS Diploma or GED preferred, 0-2 years of experience, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, sorts, picks, stocks, stages, and transports materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Prepares items for shipment or customer pickup by securely packaging materials using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods.
• Verifies product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Installs protective devices to prevent damage during transport.
• Operates forklifts or other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety policies are followed.
• Assists customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials.
• May drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.
