Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience shipping, receiving and stores.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Completion of high school or vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Unpack and check goods against purchase orders or invoices; maintain records.
• Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped; post weights and shipping charges.
• Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
