Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to partner with the warehouse team in shipping, receiving and material distribution. You will assist in unpacking, inspecting items, recording weights and charges, and preparing goods for shipment.

The role requires 1+ years in a warehouse setting, 2+ years of box truck driving, and DOT certification eligibility. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping, receiving and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• 1+ years of related experience in a warehouse environment.
• 2+ years of driving box trucks experience.
• DOT Certification eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Unpack and check goods against purchase orders or invoices; maintain records; reject unsatisfactory items.
• Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped; post weights and shipping charges; prepare goods for final shipment.
• Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
